Two new business lounges have opened at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport in time for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which kicked off on Thursday 14 June. The Kandinsky Business Lounge and Aeroflot Moscow Lounge were both designed by JPA Design.

The 1,515 sqm Kandinsky Business Lounge is situated in Terminal B and features two main lounge areas, which combined can accommodate 320 travellers. There is a buffet-style dining area and a small bar, as well as a café.

The lounge also offers a children’s playroom for travelling families, a smoking room and a library. It is available to first and business class travellers with any airline as well as Priority Pass, Lounge Key, Lounge Club, Diners Club and Lounge Charter cardholders.

The two-storey Aeroflot Moscow Lounge is located in Terminal D, and has been designed with Moscow’s neo-classical architecture as inspiration. The ceiling features a replica bird’s-eye view of St. Basil’s Cathedral.

The 1,195 sqm lounge can accommodate 260 guests, and offers similar facilities to the Kandinsky lounge. It is available to Aeroflot first and business class travellers and Priority Card members.
