JPA wins new major Air China airport lounge business
JPA has won a series of major commissions to design lounges for Air China. Four locations have already been confirmed – Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and ChongQing. The first three lounges are set to open their doors in Spring 2012 when Air China will unveil JPA-designed First Class and Business Class lounges in both Beijing and Chengdu.
In addition, Air China will also launch a JPA-designed Phoenix lounge in Chengdu for use by Air China’s Phoenix loyalty scheme cardholders. By the Summer of 2012 a further First Class and Business Class lounge is set to open in ChongQing.
James Park, JPA’s Managing Director, said: “JPA is honoured to be selected by Air China, China’s national flag carrier and one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, to work on this ambitious programme in China’s key airport hubs.”
Air China’s Head of Airport Lounges commented: “These new JPA designed lounges will distinguish Air China as a market leader in China and internationally and is a testament to our commitment to service excellence. Air China is very pleased to be working with JPA on the development of our new flagship airport lounges.”
